 There has been a continued global decrease in investments in the private equity industry in recent months. Stratus Investimentos highlights the most interesting figures and places Brazil within this context.
Brazil's investments are down 72 per cent for the first part of 2002 compared to the same period last year. Germany, on the other hand, is only down by 29 per cent, possibly a result of tax reforms that came into effect at the end of 2001.
