 Belgium's private equity market remained underdeveloped compared to the European market as a whole in 2002, according to the Belgian Venturing Association.
But the BVA predicts that growth in both early-stage investments and buy-outs will drive the market towards recovery in 2003, while acknowledging that exit routes are likely to remain extremely difficult.
