The Spanish private equity market has grown substantially over the last four years. This growth has been reflected in the fact that numerous pan-European firms have opened offices there, hoping to take advantage of local deal flow. But Spain, like most other local markets, has its own way of structuring deals, argues Carlos Pazos of SJ Berwin's Madrid office.
