The Danish venture capital market has grown dramatically over the last five years. The number of investors has more than doubled, the number of people employed by the Danish venture capital industry has more than tripled and the volume of investments has more than quadrupled in that period. Here, the Danish Investment Fund discusses whether the existing supply of venture capital is sufficient to finance venture capital firms' current portfolios and future deal flow.
The report reviews Danish venture capital financings by industry and by investment stage, analysing the dynamics of the market by quantifying venture backed companies from start-up through to exit. The report also looks ahead to future trends in the Danish venture capital market.
