The German middle-market still bears enormous potential if private equity firms are able to ‘wake up' the companies that they invest in, according to Ralf Huep of Advent International.
Huep also believes that although the IPO market remains dead, hope of a resurrection is growing. And in the meantime firms must be prepared to exploit the potential of the secondary buy-out market in order to exit their investments.
