An insider's perspective on the outlook for private equity in Italy

The Italian private equity market is currently being dominated by players with a consolidated Italian track record and experienced Italy-based management teams, according to Fabio Sattin of Private Equity Partners.

Although private equity fundraising in Italy is becoming increasingly international, it is still primarily a local market. A strong local presence and domestic decision making autonomy are key to success in the Italian private equity market.
