In 2004 the Italian private equity and venture capital market was characterised by stability on the supply side, says the Italian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association. The deal side suffered from an increasing number of auctions and a slowdown in corporate divestment activity.
The AIFI Yearbook, now on its eighth issue, intends to be a guide on the main features and trends related to Italian private equity and venture capital industry.
As in the past editions, the AIFI 2005 Yearbook contains results of AIFI's annual survey, conducted in cooperation with PricewaterhouseCoopers -Transaction Services, analysing investment, divestment, and fund raising activity carried out during the year.
