M&A in the Philippines

Both the mining and call centre sectors are likely to be the key drivers of investment and M&A activity in the short to medium term in the Philippines, says PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Call centres continue to represent another "good news story" for the Philippines, with the sector potential now gaining worldwide interest. This is evidenced by the growth in local call centre revenues which are expected to be US$689 million in 2004, an increase of 118% compared to 2003.
