PER's client has more than $2bn in assets under management in its secondary private equity business alone. Its French team is seeking a Senior Analyst to be based in Paris. As one of the pioneer investors in private equity secondaries it has built a team across North America and Europe to take advantage of global secondary investment opportunities. You will have high responsibility as you will be performing a broad range of duties as part of the firm’s secondary private equity investment. Your responsibility will include financial analysis to support due diligence, reviewing documentation, preparing investment committee memoranda, monitoring and reporting on portfolio performance, as well as supporting in all aspects of the investment.
Candidates must have the following skills:
- A strong academic track record with a Diploma of a Parisian grande école or equivalent, with preference for a specialization in finance, or Master 2 of finance at Dauphine, Sciences Po, La Sorbonne
- Transaction exposure gained in a financial analysis role in private equity, investment banking (M&A, leveraged finance, corporate finance) or internal position for a corporation related to investing
- Strong quantitative skills with demonstrable excellent modelling experience
- Understanding of the Private Equity Secondaries market is necessary
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Great team work and collaborative personality
- Excellent French and English language skills is required any additional - European language will be a plus
- Exposure to European transactions
