PER's client is a well known and respected VC, buy-out and growth investor. It is looking to recruit an investment manager to join its mezzanine venture team which invests between £1-4m in UK businesses. It targets pre-IPO, development, buy-out, partial exit and senior debt finance opportunities. It will target companies with positive cash-flows and look to invest alongside other equity providers. The mezzanine product is in high demand at the lower-mid market at present. The successful candidate will have a very hands on role and will be actively involved in all aspects of a transaction such as; origination, executing investments and achieving realisations thereafter.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:
- ACA qualification is essential
- Candidates must have experience of working in one of the following areas – audit, business recovery, insolvency, transaction services or corporate finance
- Sound commercial judgement
- Enthusiasm for the lower-mid market
