We are looking for analysts to join a rapidly growing investment management company which specialises in the environmental, utilities and energy sectors. As an analyst, you will have an excellent opportunity to be involved in all aspects of a private equity transaction from deal origination, execution and investment monitoring. Our client targets acquisitions and private equity investments in highly-levered power generation assets and related companies in the renewable energy sector predominantly in Western Europe and North America. You will be excited by this sector, and have great quantitative skills gained from a relevant industry (investment banking, strategy consulting, corporate finance or ACA qualified in transaction services). Ideally, you’ll have had exposure to working on the continent and speak a European language although this is not essential.
Candidates must have the following skills and experience:
- Superb quantitative skills – you will be an ace at financial modelling
- A relevant background in; investment banking, strategy consulting, corporate finance or ACA qualified in transaction services
- European work exposure and languages is beneficial but not essential
- Genuine enthusiasm for the renewable sector
Compensation would be in line with market expectations
