A European fund of funds investor focusing on venture capital and mid market funds across Europe with a portfolio of c€5bn is looking for an investment manager to join its Luxembourg team. You will be involved in all aspects of the due diligence process and assessment of investment opportunities as well as in the negotiation and monitoring of existing investments in the funds.
You should have the following
- Strong academic background with MBA, ACA or CFA an advantage
- Ideally experience gained in private equity direct or fund investing or relevant transaction focused experience from banking, consulting or accounting
- Proven knowledge of the venture capital / private equity industry in Europe
- Experience of undertaking strategic reviews of businesses and market research
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of an additional European language would be preferable
- Good verbal and written communication skills
