This particular role is with the real estate team that invests in assets across Europe. You will be based in London with a particular focus on the German speaking market and spend a fair amount of time working from the Frankfurt office or travelling to the assets. You will receive quite a lot of supervision to start with, so we are looking for people with a great academic background who can demonstrate the potential to grow. Within twelve months you should be analysing complex transactions and making commercial investment decisions with your colleagues. You really need to be enthusiastic and motivated by real estate investing but don’t need to have been involved in real estate in your career to date. You must be able to speak and write extremely well in both English and German and we will test this in the screening process. This job is a door opener to a fantastic private equity career.
You need to be able to show the following skills and experience:
- Fluent spoken and written English and German
- Strong academic career, you may also be an ACA
- Work experience gained in a bank, accounting firm or property company
- Strong financial analsyis skills, great research skills
- Real estate focused experience would be useful but is not necessary so long as you can demonstrate enthusiasm and some knowledge of the area
- Motivational drive to learn quickly and succeed in the role
