As an experienced venture capital and/or growth investor, you will be attracted to this role as you will take a lead position within this well known cleantech investor. As a senior investment principal/partner, you will be responsible for sourcing, structuring, executing and monitoring some of the most promising clean technology opportunities in the UK. Furthermore, you will have an active role in liaising with fund investors, the management of the fund and for future fund raisings. You’ll be able to demonstrate a successful career in venture and/or growth capital, and an enthusiasm for this sector.
You will have:
- A demonstrable track record in VC and/or growth investing
- A working knowledge of high growth companies
- Genuine enthusiasm for VC, clean technology (particularly new energy) and the entrepreneurial environment
- A strong academic record - a background in science is beneficial but not essential
- Candidates with experience of exits will have an advantage
- Sound commercial judgement
- Compensation would be in line with market expectations including bonus and carry
