 Capstone Partners Europe is looking for a self-starter, high energy candidate interested in placing private equity funds in selected geographies in Europe (Nordics, possibly UK or Netherlands). Origination of new mandates and helping on the marketing and documentation of funds will be important components of the activity. Candidates with a track record in private equity placement will be favoured, especially those with linguistic/cultural background in the respective geographies.

Capstone Partners provides fund placement services to established private equity and real estate firms from around the world. The company is continuing to expand its range of fund mandates and provide Limited Partners with access to a range of attractive products offering complementary exposure across various startegies in the private equity and real estate markets.
Fund placements:
- Originating/negotiating new GP mandates within the selected geographies
- Assistance in the due diligence analysis of private equity funds
- Assistance in the preparation of fund documents and marketing material
- Contacting/following up/closing commitments from Limited Partners on a co-ordinated basis with other members of the Capstone team
CRM:
- Data collection, input and integrity of all information concerning GP clients, fund placement mandates and prospective investors
- Maintenance of the business development activity and log in the selected geographies in Europe
Other:
- Build a relevant knowledge base of private equity and real estate activity, GP's and investors in the selected region
- Communicate market knowledge effectively to other members of the Capstone team
Remuneration:
- Share of placement commissions earned from capital raised in respective geographies in Europe
- Competitive base salary to be off-set against placement commissions
Possibility to become full-partner in the firm, alongside its founders, if relationship is successfull.
Skills
- Good understanding of the private equity and/or real estate markets
- Self-starter , professional, ehtical, high-energy individual with well developed communication skills
- Able to generate LP interest and close investments for Capstone's mandates
- Able to generate new GP mandates for Capstone
- Teamwork and an ability to work in a small organisation while being a self-starter and able to work independently
- Disciplined and structured approach, precision and reliability are key
- Fluency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint,…), the Internet, and an ability to produce clear, well structured documents
- Multilingual : excellent mastering of the English language is a requirement, mastering of one or more Nordic languages is a plus
The candidate will be based in Nyon, joining a team of 6 people and will have regular contact with the team based in Dallas, USA.
