By using the AltAssets recruitment system and/or its associated e-mail alerts and e-mail newsletters you agree to the terms and conditions below. You warrant that you are over 18 years of age and authorised to enter into this agreement and agree to abide by the procedures set out below.

Your Information

You warrant that any information you provide is true, accurate and complete.

Termination

AltAssets may terminate this Agreement at any time without notice. AltAssets reserves the right, in its discretion, to suspend, change, modify, add or remove portions of AltAssets content available on the site at any time and to restrict the use and accessibility of the site.

Access

Any password issued to you is for your use only. If an additional employee of your company requires access to the AltAssets web site, he or she must obtain an additional password from AltAssets. You agree to not disclose your password to any person, including other employees of your company or any oher third party.

You are responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of any passwords given by AltAssets for accessing the AltAssets web site and will not disclose them to any third party. You are fully responsible for any actions taken using such password. You will notify AltAssets immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use or disclosure of such password.

If AltAssets has any reason to believe that passwords are being shared or used by unauthorised persons then the matter will be reported to the compliance department of the company of the individual to whom the password was originally issued.

At all times the level of access to the AltAssets web site will be at the discretion of AltAssets.

User obligations

You agree not to use the AltAssets web site or any email addresses obtained from the AltAssets web site for sending unsolicited or unauthorised advertising, including "junk mail", "spam" or "chain letters". d) is not in breach of confidence;

g) does not create liability for AltAssets or cause AltAssets to lose (in whole or in part) the services of our ISPs or other suppliers;

h) does not cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety;

i) does not undermine the integrity of the AltAssets web site; or

j) be otherwise unlawful.

h) does not contain incomplete, false or inaccurate biographical information or information which is not your own accurate resume.

You acknowledge that it is not possible for AltAssets to verify the accuracy of all information provided by third parties and published on its web site. AltAssets is not responsible for the content of such information and for the consequences of acting on any such information.

Use of your information

AltAssets is entitled to use information provided by you in accordance with its Privacy Statement. Use of this web site by you constitutes implicit acceptance of the AltAssets Privacy Statement. You accept and agree that AltAssets may disclose information relating to you in any court, regulatory authority or other body empowered by law to receive such information.

Service Provision

Neither we nor third party advertisers can guarantee their suitability or prospects of success in any particular case. You should obtain independent verification before relying on information provided on the site in circumstances which may result in loss or damage.

As a result, AltAssets has no control over the quality, safety or legality of the jobs or resumes posted, the truth or accuracy of the listings, the ability of advertisers to offer job opportunities to candidates or the ability of candidates to fill job openings. In addition, note that there are risks, including but not limited to the risk of physical harm, of dealing with strangers, foreign nationals, underage persons or people acting under false pretenses. You assume all risks associated with dealing with other users with whom You come in contact through the AltAssets service.

Nothing in this Agreement shall exclude or limit:-

a) either party’s liability for death or personal injury arising from its negligence or that of its servants, agents or employees; or

b) any other liability which it is prohibited from excluding by law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify AltAssets, its affiliates, managing directors, officers, employees or agents from and against any losses, costs, claims, liabilities or expenses which arise directly or indirectly from you breaching your obligations under this Agreement.

Modifications

AltAssets may amend this Agreement by posting the amended terms on its web site. Your continued use of the web site after such terms have been posted will constitute your consent to such amended terms. Neither party shall be liable to the other for any delay or non-performance of its obligations under this Agreement arising from any cause or causes beyond its reasonable control including, without limitation, any of the following: act of God, governmental act, war, fire, flood, explosion or civil commotion. This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law and each party hereby submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

We may also ask you to provide us with your name, job title and other personal details. This is personal information that we will not pass on to third parties - other than job advertisers - without your prior consent. However, non-personal information submitted by you will be aggregated and then may be sold, passed on or used in aggregated form by AltAssets or its associates to create and develop research projects.

We may contact you by letter, fax, e-mail or telephone in order to ensure the information we have is accurate and up to date, and to undertake any necessary verification procedures as required by regulatory authorities as well as to deliver our fund introductory service, recruitment service and related services.

We will use all reasonable care in keeping our information secure and will take all reasonable measures to prevent any unauthorised access, unlawful use or accidental loss or destruction of such information. We comply with all data protection legislation applicable in the UK.
