Markku Maula of Helsinki University and Dr Gordon Murray of London Business School analyse over 200 CVCs.

If access to new technologies and intellectual property are the main objectives for companies becoming involved in corporate venturing, you would expect them to acquire investee companies. However, as this study shows, less than six per cent of investee companies are bought by their corporate venturing investor.
