M&A Review - March 200331/03/2003. Source: Dealogic.
Private equity firms continue to play a major part in the mergers and acquisitions market. Dealogic's M&A Review for March 2003 assesses the current state of the global M&A market and outlines the involvement of private equity firms.
Although the mergers and acquisitions market is still showing signs of decline, private equity firms are taking their opportunity to cash in on low valuations. Indeed, out of the top ten global M&A deals completed in February 2003, private equity firms were involved in six, including Candover and Cinven's buy-out of the Gala Group and Quadrangle's involvement in the acquisition of GoodTimes Entertainment.
