 April saw six new funds hit the fundraising trail, the largest, the WL Ross Japan Fund targeting $1bn for Japanese turnarounds.
In a tough fundraising environment the majority of US venture firms are raising modestly sized funds. Fundraising remains tough with a number of venture funds falling below their initial fundraising targets.
