Nearly half of all European institutional investors are currently investing in private equity, according to a survey conducted JPMorgan Fleming.
The survey found that private equity is the second most popular alternative investment strategy with a 48 per cent participation rate. The most frequently cited reason for investing in private equity was the potential for generating superior returns.
