Nordic institutions’ asset management 2003 alternative investments

Click here for the latest news, views and interviews in the clean energy investor communityMore than 60 per cent of Nordic pension funds, life insurers, and foundations currently invest in hedge funds or private equity and a significant proportion plan to increase their allocations over the next two years, according to the Nordic alternative Investments Survey by Prospera Research and IPM Informed Portfolio Management.

The survey found that the average allocation to hedge funds and private equity across the region was two per cent, ranging from six per cent in Finland to just one per cent in Norway.
