Despite a feeling that the downturn has bottomed out, what could be described as an upbeat deal flow is yet to emerge at the other end of the tunnel in Europe. This is largely due to a time lag between venture capitalists reacting to renewed economic optimism and actually carrying out new deals, according to Corpfin Worldwide. However what is undeniable is that greater ' deal interest' is gathering and that the pipeline for future deals is getting fatter, suggesting more vigorous activity later this year.
