 Rotterdam-based firm Robeco Private Equity, a member of Rabo Bank, has announced a final close of its two debut funds of funds, Robeco Global Private Equity Fund and Robeco European Private Equity Fund.
Total assets under management for the funds of funds are now around E350m.
Both funds were launched in 2001, and so have taken almost two years to close, reflecting the tough environment for fundraising at present.
Funds into which Robeco has already invested include Advent International, Atlas Venture, Barclays Private Equity, JP Morgan Partners and Cinven. Up to one third of the available capital has been earmarked for purchasing limited partnership interests on the secondary market.
