US-based Fidelity Ventures appoints Dave Power as partner22/05/2003. Source: AltAssets. 
 Boston-based Fidelity Ventures, the early-stage information technology and telecommunications venture arm of Fidelity Investments, has recruited former Charles River Ventures professional Dave Power as partner.
Power joined Charles River Ventures in 2000 as venture partner with responsibility for assisting portfolio companies with their marketing and development strategies. He previously acted as chief executive officer at web application integration provider Novera Software.
Powers also worked at Sun Microsystems and at Mercer Management Consulting, where he co-founded the firm's information technology practice.
‘Dave's extensive management experience and in-depth knowledge of the information technology industry will be a tremendous asset as we continue to grow our portfolio of early-stage technology and communications investments,' said Rob Ketterson, managing partner at Fidelity Ventures.
