US Grotech Capital hires Joel Radtke as vice president for life sciences14/08/2003. Source: AltAssets. 
US-based Grotech Capital Group has announced the appointment of Joel Radtke as Vice President, focused on investments in the healthcare services and medical devices industries.
Radtke joins Grotech from Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) where he served as an associate in the firm's healthcare group. Prior to joining CSFB, he served as Vice President of Corporate Development for RealMed, an early-stage healthcare information technology company, according to VentureWire.
Radke will work alongside Terry Hyman who also joined the firm from CSFB in May this year. Hyman previously served as managing director in CSFB's investment banking division and as a senior member of its healthcare group.
Grotech was founded in 1984 and has $1bn under management. The firm focuses exclusively on the mid-Atlantic and South Eastern areas of the US. Its life sciences investments include the medical device contract manufacturer TriVirix International and MEDecision, a provider of medical management software.
