Nordic private equity firm, CapMan, has strengthened its life sciences investment team with the appointment of Yrjo Wichmann as investment director. Wichmann has over ten years experience in the Finnish life sciences sector.
Wichmann joins CapMan from FibroGen Europe where he served as chief financial officer. He previously worked in D Carnegie's Finland branch as a director in corporate finance, responsible for life sciences and healthcare sectors.
‘On their way to success, emerging Finnish life sciences companies need alternative funding sources and partners that can also provide and help them with contacts, management resources, business skills and operational advice,' said Wichmann.
