UK venture capital firms Frontiers Capital and nCoTec Ventures have merged to create a new technology focussed firm. The new entity will operate under the Frontiers Capital brand.
The new firm will be responsible for managing nCoTec I LP, which has been renamed Frontiers Capital I and Frontier’s Wireless Frontiers I, which will become Frontiers Capital II. The funds have combined assets of E125m and will both continue to invest in wireless, communications and enterprise software sectors.
Nigel Spray, formerly managing partner of Carphone Warehouse spin-out Frontiers, and Tim Horlick, former managing partner of nCoTec, will run the new firm as joint managing partners.
