Brenner will be Benchmark’s fourth general partner in Europe, joining George Coelho, Barry Maloney and Mark Evans. The firm currently manages in excess of $2bn.
‘Benchmark has an impressive track record and I am thrilled at having the opportunity to work as part of the global Benchmark team in creating a leading venture capital presence in Europe,’ said Brenner. ‘I am convinced of the potential to create and build leading global technology businesses from Europe.’
