 UK-headquartered private equity gatekeeper Altius Associates has recruited Brad Young as managing director. Young will be joining the firm's US team.
Young joins Altius from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he was responsible for managing the private equity portfolio of the institution's endowment and pension plan. He was also a member of the general partnership team for MIT's private equity fund of funds. He was previously the director of private investments for the University of Richmond's endowment.
In his new position Young will be responsible for marketing and building Altius's US market base. He will also be a member of the firm's investment committee.
