 US Vestar Capital has hired Kevin Mundt as a managing director. He will serve on the firm's portfolio monitoring and advisory group.
Mundt joins Vestar from Mercer Oliver Wyman where he was vice president and director. He previously co-founded Corporate Decisions, an international strategy consulting firm, which merged with Mercer in 1997.
Vestar was founded in 1998 and has completed over 40 investments in companies with a total value exceeding $14bn. The firm currently manages funds totalling around $4bn.
