 Vintage Venture Partners has reached a final closing on Israel's first secondaries fund with commitments of $64m. The fund will be focussed on acquiring limited partnership interests of Israel related venture capital funds and direct portfolios of Israel related technology investments.
Investors in the Vintage fund include foundations, corporations, funds of funds and family trusts in Canada, the US, Switzerland, Germany and Israel.
Vintage was founded by Alan Feld, Aharon Dovrat and Shlomo Dovrat. Feld was formerly a general partner with Israel Seed Partners and Vertex Israel. Aharon and Shlomo Dovrat are the founders of the Dovrat Group, which is a private equity group managing five technology related funds.
