 US-based venture capital firm, RWI Group, has recruited Mark Foley as a managing director. Foley will be responsible for investments in the life sciences sectors.
Foley joins RWI Group from life sciences firm Ventrica where he served as president and chief executive officer. He was previously director of business development at Perclose, a company that develops systems to surgically close arterial access sites in catheterisation procedures.
RWI Group is currently investing from a $100m fund closed in 2000. The firm invests in networking, semiconductor, software and life sciences investments.
