European mezzanine provider, Intermediate Capital Group (ICG), has appointed Dr. Marin Kohlhaussen as a non-executive director.
Kohlhaussen is currently chairman of the supervisory board of Commerzbank and is a member of the supervisory board of a number of other German companies including Bayer, Schering and Thyssen Krupp. He was chairman of the board of managing directors at Commerzbank between 1991 and 2001.
'I am very pleased that Martin Kohlhaussen has agreed to join the ICG Board as a non-executive director,' said John Manser, chairman of ICG. 'ICG believes there is the opportunity for significant growth in its mezzanine business in Germany and it will be much helped in this by Martin's great knowledge and experience of the German financial and business world.'
