UK-based ECI Partners recruits Charlie Johnstone as business development manager

Click here for the latest news, views and interviews in the clean energy investor communityUK-based private equity firm ECI Partners has recruited Charlie Johnstone as business development manager. He will be responsible for sourcing deals through intermediaries.

Johnstone joins the firm from Ernst & Young, where he served most recently in the corporate restructuring team, where he focussed on business development with private equity firms.

'I'm delighted to welcome Charlie to ECI,' said Ken Landsberg, ECI managing director. 'Part of our success as a group has been our significant commitment to deal orientation which is unique within private equity companies of our size. Charlie's appointment reflects our commitment to working effectively with intermediaries in order to maximise the proportion of deals which we see within our target markets.'

ECI currently manages in the region of £350m. The firm has invested in over 200 companies in a wide range of sectors since its inception in 1976.
