ABN Amro has sold its entire German private equity portfolio to the existing management team. The portfolio consists of six middle-market investments.
The management team are setting up independently under the name DDN Capital Partners. The team plans to launch a E100m fund early next year, according to a report by Reuters.
ABN Amro first invested in Germany in 1994. Its current German portfolio includes amusement arcade operator Lowen Play, Swiss manufacturer of printed circuit boards, Dyconex, and TomTec, which develops software for medical ultrasound systems.
