 US Windstone Capital Partners has formed a new $150m private equity fund to invest in small and mid-cap public companies. Windstone Opportunity Partners has been structured as a pledge fund and will make investments of between $5m and $15m.
Richard Freeman will be joining the firm to serve as managing general partner. He previously worked with Century Capital Management.
The fund will invest predominantly in the Southwest of America and will focus on the financial, health and technology sectors.
