Click here for the latest news, views and interviews in the clean energy investor communityABN Amro Capital has exited its investment in Spanish industrial cleaning services company Unica. The private equity firm has sold the business to ISS, a Danish strategic buyer, for E73m.

The sale to ISS represents ABN Amro's first exit in the Spanish market. The firm invested E56m in Unica in 2001.

News of ABN Amro's successful Spanish exit comes just days after the firm announced its intention to scale back or withdraw its operations in two other European markets. The firm sold its entire German portfolio to the existing management team and reduced its presence in France through the merger of its venture capital business with Xange, the early-stage venture arm of La Poste.
