 US Sevin Rosen Funds, an early-stage venture capital firm, has appointed Dan Meyer as talent partner following the recent close of its fund. Meyer will be responsible for the executive search and human capital needs of the firm and its portfolio companies.
Meyer joins Sevin Rosen from Austin Ventures where he served as director with responsibility for identifying managerial talent.
This appointment is one of a number of similar hires to have been made by venture capital firms as activity picks up, including Kodiak Venture Partners' recruitment of Steve Maxwell and Greylock's hire of Mike Ahearn.
