Swedish Rato's has recruited Leif Johansson as a senior investment manager. He joins the firm from private equity firm Procuritas, where he served as executive-in-residence.
Johansson was also chief executive of ISAB 2, a unit within Procuritas, where he had responsibility for streamlining and divesting companies. His responsibilities included the chairmanship of Axenti Group and Sanda Maleri.
'Leif is one of the few people who has worked both as an operational CEO and who also has a solid experience from active ownership and transactions,' said Rato's CEO Arne Karlsson. 'With his background he is well suited to work as a senior investment manager with us.'
Ratos has been an asset management company since 1934 and was floated on the stock market in 1954. In 1999 the group decided to take a new strategic direction and transformed itself into a listed private equity company.
