Heidi Levin joins US Northern Trust as vice president of private equity

US Northern Trust Global Advisors, an investment management subsidiary of Northern Trust Corporation, has announced the appointment of Heidi Levin as vice president in the private equity group.

Levin will focus on the sourcing, due diligence, closing and portfolio management of fund investment opportunities for clients of Northern Trust's fund of funds and separate account mandates.

'Heidi is a terrific addition to our team, and is an example of Northern's further commitment to the private equity asset class,' said Robert Morgan, senior vice president and director of private equity at Northern Trust.

'Her experience in various aspects of private equity, as well as her analytical thought process, and decision-making abilities will add significant value for our investors. With market activity increasing, Heidi will play a key role in the strong growth and expansion of our private equity practice,' he added.

Levin began her career with Drexel Burnham Lambert's merger and acquisition department and also worked for Comdisco, Equity Group Investments, Warburg Pincus and Saunders Karp & Megrue.
