 Paul Capital Partners has recruited Elaine Small as managing director of its secondaries operations. She will be responsible for the sourcing and negotiations of transactions in the UK and Ireland. She will also be involved in the management of GP relationships as well as with communications with institutional investors throughout Europe.
Small joins the firm from SpencerStuart & Associates, where she focused on the recruitment of senior executives and partners for private equity firms. She previously worked at Bankers Trust, First Boston and JP Morgan.
Paul Capital Partners currently manages more than $4bn in capital in private equity secondaries, healthcare royalty acquisition funds and venture capital fund of funds. The Paul Secondary funds have completed more than 100 secondary market acquisitions of limited partnership interests and portfolios of direct private equity investments. Through its secondaries programme Paul Capital is now a limited partner in over 300 partnerships and 400 funds.
