 US Venture Strategy Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm, has hired John Hamm as a general partner. He will focus on enterprise and consumer investment opportunities.
Hamm joins the firm from TCG Advisors where he served as a managing director. He was previously a venture partners at Redpoint Ventures and a managing director at Internet Capital Group. He is also the former CEO of Whistle Communications.
Venture Strategy Partners was founded in 1996 and has $225m under management. Investors in the firm's funds include Colorado PERA, The Common Fund, FLAG Ventures, Horsley Bridge, Invesco, Pantheon, Regents of the University of California and The Wellcome Trust.
