Jonathan Diggines, the head of Aberdeen Murray Johnstone Private Equity, has left the company this week after failing to agree a management buy-out. Hugh Little will now oversee the firm's entire £420m in capital under management.
John Simpson, who was head of portfolio management at Aberdeen Murray Johnstone has also left the firm, according to a report by The Herald.
Aberdeen Murray Johnstone Private Equity was formed in 2000 when Aberdeen Asset Management acquired Murray Johnstone and merged the two firm's private equity units. The firm typically makes investments of between £1.5m and £50m.
