Former Intel Capital Communications Fund Director appointed to US venture firm.
OVP Venture Partners has announced the appointment of John Hull to the firm's investment team as its newest partner.
Previously, Hull was the Director of the $500 million Intel Communications Fund, one of Intel Capital's investment programs, which invests in companies developing networking and communications solutions.
At OVP, Hull will work from the firm's Portland, Oregon office, with a focus on opportunities in mobility and networking as well as collaborating on OVP's strategy in Asia.
Hull joined Intel in 1994, and worked in Intel Capital from 1999, as director of the Intel Communications Fund. Since 1999, the fund has invested in companies across 17 different countries.
