 US-based secondaries specialist Paul Capital Partners has continued its recent hiring spree with the appointment of Ann E. Watson as head of deal origination for the secondary private equity team. Based in Toronto and New York, Watson joins the secondary team as a Principal with primary responsibility for global sourcing.
She will coordinate the sourcing activities of both investment professionals and the firm's network of local representatives around the world, as well as contributing to due diligence and investor relations.
Watson has 15 years of experience in the private and public capital markets having originated and executed transactions in Canada, the United States, Europe and the United Kingdom.
Prior to joining Paul Capital, she was an investment banker focusing on corporate finance and M&A transactions with UBS Warburg and Prudential Securities. She was also the Fund Manager for The Brightspark Group of Companies and has an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business.
Paul Capital has announced several other hirings in recent weeks.
