Sagitta Private Equity changes name to Bowmark Capital

UK mid-market private equity firm Sagitta Private Equity has changed its name to Bowmark Capital. This move marks the firm's final step in establishing itself as an independent firm, following the management buy-out from the Sagitta Group.

Charles Ind, managing director of Bowmark Capital, explained: 'A bowmark is an aiming device used in archery. We chose the name because it symbolises the precision and selectivity we seek to bring to investing.'

Bowmark Capital re-named its third fund, now Bowmark Capital Partners III, which closed last year at its cap of £105m.

Bowmark supports management teams undertaking buy-outs, buy-ins, roll-outs, build-ups and expansion financings in the sectors of business services, leisure, healthcare, media and IT services.
