Ex-banker and consultant Andrew Golding joins 3i's European buy-out business

Based in London, Golding will be responsible for overseeing 3i's key existing banking relationships and for forging new ones.

Golding has previously worked for Samuel Montagu, Barclays Capital and Bank of America. Since 2002 Golding has been a banking consultant.

Ian Nolan, managing director 3i European Buyouts, said, 'We are committed to continuing to add specialised skills into our team and I'm delighted that Andrew has accepted this role. His reputation, knowledge and experience in banking add to the knowledge pool within our team and we will certainly benefit from his external experience and perspective.'

The 3i European Buyout Business specialises in the region's mid-market. Managing over €3.5bn invested in over 100 companies across Europe, the business invests in all sectors, with a focus on media, healthcare and business support services.
