 Siemens Venture Capital, the venture capital arm of Siemens, has appointed Dr Michael Hochholzer as new investment partner. Based in Munich, he will focus on investments in mobile infrastructure and devices, enterprise infrastructure and semiconductors, within the Communications Fund.
Dr Hochholzer is a venture capital and marketing professional with 14 years of general management, product management and R&D experience in the communication, microelectronics and semiconductor industry.
Prior to joining the firm, Dr Hochholzer was a partner with Infineon Ventures.
SVC is the corporate venture organisation for Siemens' businesses worldwide. To date, SVC has invested €600m in more than 70 start-up companies and 30 venture capital funds mainly in the United States, Europe and Israel.
