UK/US PE firm Beringea appoints new investment director and financial controller

Click here for the latest news, views and interviews in the clean energy investor communityBeringea, the manager of the ProVen Venture Capital Trusts and Global Rights Private Equity Funds, has appointed Jamie Kennell as investment director and Chris Eyre as financial controller in their London office. At the same time Steven Tuckley has been promoted to finance director.

Stuart Veale, managing director at Beringea, said, 'Jamie's experience and proven investment skills will make a valuable contribution to the business. Chris has a wide range of experience in the investment management sector and will be a vital addition to the finance team, particularly at a time when fundraising is a principal activity.'

Beringea recently began fundraising activities for its latest VCT, ProVen 3 VCT, and Kennel, who joined the firm from Unilever Ventures, will play an active role in raising the £30m fund.

Beringea, with offices in London and Detroit, invests in small to medium sized companies.
