European secondaries specialist Headway Capital Partners appoints Toon as CFO

Click here for the latest news, views and interviews in the clean energy investor communityLondon-based private equity secondaries specialist Headway Capital Partners has appointed David Toon, a qualified chartered accountant, as chief financial officer.

Prior to joining Headway Capital, Toon was the financial controller for Granville Baird Capital Partners and also group taxation manager for its parent Robert W Baird Group. Before that he was the tax manager for Credit Lyonnais Securities in London.

Toon started his career in the tax and legal services division at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Headway Capital was founded in 2004 by Christiaan de Lint and Sebastian Junoy, both formerly with Coller Capital, and Laura Shen.

The firm provides liquidity solutions to institutions and individuals seeking exits or alternatives for their private equity investments. In June of this year Headway Capital announced the closing of its debut fund with commitments of €52m.
